We didn't have time, so stayed here only for 3 nights, yet everything was incredible. The well-trained and so efficient staff was much appreciated. Liked the amazing meals and delicious breakfast. It was an exceptionally nice and tranquil location for us, right by the beautiful Devon Valley, an oasis of vineyards and beautiful landscape that is less than ten minutes drive to the centre of vibrant and stylish Stellenbosch, the vineyards of Stellenbosch and restaurants, friendly staff and clean rooms & comfortable rooms. Plus it was max 20 mins walk to the lake.

Everything was perfect, including lovely and incredible breakfasts with beautiful views and coffee station and a nice atmosphere. Location: the hotel was close to urban conveniences and lovely gardens and excellant wine.

The hotel's old colonial style decoration was absolutely charming, reminding me of a bygone era. The wooden deck area outside my room provided breathtaking views of the valley. Being a senior woman, I also appreciated the hotel's accessibility, making it easy for me to navigate around.

While the overall experience was delightful, I would have loved if the hotel had more activities or amenities specifically designed for senior guests.

Wonderful morning meal in the lounge area. All in all absolutely perfect setting not far from the BEAUTIFUL Devon Valley, an oasis of vineyards and beautiful landscape that is less than ten minutes drive to the centre of vibrant and stylish Stellenbosch, mountains and vineyards and the centre of Cape Town. Clean pool, parking on-site. Attentive staff and altogether a very good experience.

We had a wonderful stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel in the heart of wine country. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, offering us coffee upon arrival. Our spacious and clean room was ready even though we arrived early. The breakfast was amazing, with a variety of delicious options to choose from, and the restaurant served mouthwatering dishes with a Mediterranean touch. We also enjoyed the stunning views while having breakfast. The hotel's location in this beautiful valley provided a picturesque backdrop for our stay.

We would highly recommend this luxurious hotel to our family and friends.

Hotel is also used by travel groups, which makes it a little bit bustling and loud. But if one adapts e.g. meal times to it, it is no problem at all.

Great views and peaceful surroundings. Rooms are well-equipped with all necessary amenities, including flat-screen TV, hairdryer, safe, and free wifi. The food is excellent, especially the breakfast buffet. Freshly made scones are a delight. The hotel is conveniently located near the vineyards, making it a perfect base for exploring the area.

The older part of the hotel had small rooms with too much furniture, giving a cramped feeling. Some rooms had a damp smell.

The location was superb with spectacular views of the mountains and surrounding countryside. My wife and I were both impressed with the the frirendliness and helpfullnes of the staff, and we would have no hesitation in returning or recommending the hotel.
